Missing You 幸福摩天轮

I just finished watching Missing You. The main actors starring are : Linda Chung, Jason Chan, Cilla Lok and Calvin Chan.

I found that the ending was a bit rushed because Jason just had feelings for Linda all of a sudden in a few minutes after he recalled how she alway stayed by his side when he was feeling depressed. He ran many streets to get Linda back and prevent her from going to Australia. This scene was rather weird cos the chasing part took up like 5 minutes while I personally think he should just go straight to the Airport and wait for her there. However, the confession part was awesome. Credits to their scriptwriter.

This drama basically develop Linda's one sided love by placing her as Jason's partner and they work together to help people find their lost family members. Some of the cases were quite touching, especially the 3 siblings one.

Brian Chu acted as Linda's brother and i felt that his screen time was so little, compared to Cilla and Calvin, they used to show almost equal screentime in Yes Sir, Sorry Sir ! . I think Brian still need to brush up on some of his acting skills such as the sad tone part..

I wish that there will be a sequeal to this drama. The theme song is sang by Linda Chung, 幸福歌。

Overall I'll rate this 7/10. The last episode was the best!

Tiger Cubs

I had also watched Tiger Cubs飞虎. It was so short, with only 13 episodes. The cases were quite exciting as I prefer those gunshootouts type of shows more than those investigation ones. It's starred with Joe Ma, Oscar Leung, Him Law, Vincent Wong, Benjamin Yuen, Mandy Wong and Xuan Xuan.

There was around 5 - 6 cases and some of them killed some police characters! That was quite sad, i don't know why TVB likes to kill characters nowadays.

Him Law was as hot as ever and was a rich man's son but not spoilt and depended on himself.

Vincent Wong came from a police family and is feeling stressed up that he will screw up..

At the ending, Vincent was killed in a tragic manner because one of the culprit took revenge on him as he indirectly killed his wife..

Witness Insecurity

It's been a long time since I did a review since I'm busy with school work. So, just a month ago i finished watching Witness Insecurity 护花危情. It's main actors are Bosco and Linda.

Linda acted as a rich and shy lady who has attitude problems ( to others ) except to her dad. She aslo values her cello alot. As for why is she behaving like this, shall wait for you to watch and find out!

Bosco was a policeman which is like a bodyguard for people who are going for court trials or anyone in grief danger. He was the leader of his team and they focussed on Linda's case in the whole series.

The ending was quite sad as they showed Bosco died/injured. He wasn't sent to hospital but just fainted. So maybe there may be a 2nd series to it showing that he lost his memory or injured?

This drama finished airing around end of May. The storyline was quite weird. I find it a bit 不可思议 for a middle-aged man to only apply to be a Police and then end up as an undercover teacher in a notorious school. But I would say that this teacher really cared for his students such as helping them to find a bowling coach and caring about their family matters too. 
In this drama, I really hate Moses to break Linda's heart. To solve a case, he tried to get close to Linda and even thought that she was involved in the gang's activity. Linda fell for him yet he made her so sad, crying so badly.

There's also a particular group of students that's always creating trouble in school. They are called Killer4(K4).
 
If you look clearly at the school uniform picture, you will notice all 3 boys tuck their shirt out at one side. It's like their style, everytime they appear in the show their uniform is like this. (even at their promotional event)
They look quite young but actually they are all of different ages! In case you want to know their name : From left: Brian Chu Min Han, Cilla, Ronald Law, Dickson Wong.
My favourite K4 member is Brian!

The K4 used to be the most notorious gang in school, however the teachers managed to change them, including Miss Koo ( Linda ). Do watch to find out! It's quite nice.

Lives Of Omission 

This show was aired somewhere in November or December if I'm not wrong.
There were many undercovers and spys. The police department is called CIB.
There were touching parts in epsiode 13/14. Adrian Chau is a police officer in CIB while his long lost twin brother, Daniel Chau, is in the gang they are focussing on. CIB sent Adrian to be an undercover and get near his brother and Bai Co ( the leader of the gang ).
Bai Co realised that Adrian is an undercover and fed him with drugs and stabbed him in the stomach. He hid him and Laughing Gor ( police ) tried to exchange the drugs with Bai Co for Adrian.
Adrian was hospitalised and could not control his actions and speak properly after that. He also need to sit in a wheelchair. He was in a coma for a while and when Daniel visited him, he cried because he read letters that Adrian wrote while he was an undercover, He was just afraid that his brother may commit more crimes and wanted to bring him back to the correct path. He was very sad and the crying scene was really touching.
But after that, at the last episode, Adrian was back at CIB doing admin work. < the police were trying to let Adrian get into Daniel's clothes.

As for couple, Kate and Bosco definitely match. However there were so many intimate scenes between them.  Got to say that their relationship was a bit confusing, a bit Love-Hate like relationship. There was a point of time when Bosco was forced to shoot Kate and he know that her heart is more to the left, so he shot the heart's position, knowing that she won't die as her heart is not really there.

Forensic Heroes 3 

This drama was released about 5 months ago during October. They changed all the previous casts yet it still turned out as awesome as the previous 2 sequels.
Even though it had been 5 months, I can still remember most of the happenings in it.
In episode 17 was the part where Ron was so anxious when he thought Kate was going to be transferred to another area. He went to find Ko Sir immediately after the shooting for 警讯. Kate was in his office too and he could say stuffs like, Mdm is scared of heat, ghost and dirt. Kate looked at him in a weird manner. Must be thinking, how he know so much about her..
After that, Ko Sir revealed that its he himself getting transferred, not Kate. Kate was angry at Ron for being so rash and called him up to the rooftop, Ron confessed to Kate there.

Episode 18 they kissed. Kate was jealous that Ron went clubbing and made close friend with a girl. He just pulled her over while explaining he had nothing with the girl. And they kissed.
 
A funny part of the show: forgot which episode was this, but Edwin Siu got "drunk" because Aimee set him up. He went around hugging people and kissed Aimee. It was just a bit of alcohol and he couldn't take it. It was really funny because the alcohol was like only 0.4%?
Another couple in this show were : Wayne and Maggie.
However I do not really like them because they are considered old... Focus on the young ones instead ^^
Definitely, my favourite couple, actor and actess are Ron and Kate !
The cases they encountered were not really that hard to solve, can actually guess who were the culprits.

The Hippocratic Crush  / On Call 36 Hours z

This new TVB drama is really exciting to watch. Currently I'm waiting for the last episode to be out. Funshion will only upload it tomorrow!! Since I watched 24 episodes already, I decided to make a review for it first.

At the first episode, it started off quite well. Doctor Zhang Yat Kin saved a kid that met with a car incident. He actually used bricks and belt to secure his head! That's actually quite creative..
Somewhere in episode 6/7 Yu Jai was on the road when she saw this man that has a problem with his heart and was already lying on the floor. She immediately checked him and realised he had this 心包刺穿 and the only cure is to inject him to let some air/oxygen flow out. The paramedics came and she got the really huge needle and injected the man. I FOUND THIS REALLY WEIRD CAUSE SHE DIDNT SHOW ANY IDENTIFICATIONS THAT SHE IS A DOCTOR AND THEY JUST PASSED THE NEEDLE TO HER -.-. and the wife was really worried when she saw the huge needle and asked anxiously " what are you going to do ?" She did everything successfully and the wife was grateful of course..

Enough of the describing.

Best actor / actress
I think that the best actor here is Him Law(yang cong). He is damn HOT too.  He looked really slack at the first few episodes and couldnt even inject the patients at the right place. But after the swearing in for doctors, he really gave me that feeling that he is a good doctor and is very responsible. Maybe it was Yat Kin who changed him.. He had this funny role in the entire drama, always trying to make people around him happy especially Yu Jai. 
Best actress I think it should be Mandy Wong (mei suet) ? She was a selfish girl who only thought of herself instead of her sister's and her mentor's feelings. However Benjamin Yuen (Benjamin) changed her. He lectured her twice and let her reflect on herself. I really hope they end up together. They look like a pair. At the last few episodes, Mandy was caring towards everyone, she was no longer the selfless Doctor, who was always over confident.

Couples
Most matching on screen couple got to be : Tavia ( Yu Jai ) and Kenneth ( Yat Kin )
They were both professional doctors and always had a topic to chat. Tavia was mostly the one taking initiative, however she had a cancer in the spine and gave up on Yat Kin. She was afraid of being a burden. Yat Kin then proposed to her during Wing's wedding.

2nd matching couple: Benjamin (Ben) and Mandy (Mei Suet)
Benjamin used to be a playboy. But after a patient with HIV caused him to injure himself, which may lead to him having HIV, he thought about life and was serious about relationships. Mandy was worried for him and accompanied him to take the blood test, they had to wait for 3 months for the result. (AND THEY PURPOSELY MADE THE RESULT KNOWN IN THE LAST EPISODE). Benjamin's ex stayed away from him and Mandy tried to help Benjamin, she even ate his food in front of his ex to show that HIV cant be spread through saliva. Mandy tried to cheer Benjamin up and asked him out 1 night for a drink. On the way back, Benjamin cant bear for Mandy to leave so he gave stupid reasons like hailing a taxi for her cos he would get a discount.. Mandy even asked " You cant bear for me to leave? " Benjamin denied of course. But he ran up to her and held her hand, asking if he could wait 1 more month for him, and meet him at the pub again. Mei Suet then whispered into his ear, " I'll be here 1 month later " then gave him a peck on his cheek. It was really sweet, their feelings developed fast as well..

My rating : 9/10.
